It’s test day and you only have a few hours before you take that big mid-term or final exam. However, to get the best grade possible, there are still a few points to keep in mind when you wake up on the morning of the test:
- Get up early: On the morning of the test, try to give yourself enough time to take a shower, gather all of the supplies that you will need during the exam, and get to the test location on time. You don’t want to end up rushing or panicking on the morning of the test, and getting up early will give you plenty of time to get organized.
- Eat breakfast: Eat a healthy breakfast before you go to take the test. This will help you concentrate while you’re taking the test, and you won’t be distracted by mid-morning hunger.
- Avoid cramming: The morning of the test is not the time to try to read over all of your notes or learn new material. It’s unlikely that you’ll remember it anyway, and if you come across something that you aren’t sure about, it can cause you to panic. When you’re waiting to enter the test area, you might want to take a few minutes to go over a few key points, but don’t overdo it. A quick 10-minute refresher should be more than enough.
