The purpose of the MTTC is to make sure that all certified teachers in Michigan meet a certain standard for teaching skills and knowledge. You can view or download the MTTC study guide free from the MTTC website. Spend some time going over a practice exam, and make notes of your weak areas so that you can focus your studies on those areas that need improvement. Schedule time to study. If you are like most people, your calendar is full of work, school, and family commitments. Nevertheless, in the months before your scheduled MTTC test date, you should set aside some time each week to look over sample MTTC tests and to review your weak areas. Know which tests you need.
