Law clerks conduct research and prepare the various documents that are needed for a case. They may also meet with clients or attend court cases. The job is often very similar to the work a paralegal performs, but most law clerks have a bachelors degree. In some cases, law clerk positions are filled by students who are currently attending law school pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
