GMAT Test

If you want to pursue graduate-level education in business and management, you will need to take the Graduate Management Admission Test, or GMAT. This is the most widely used graduate entrance exam for business schools. The GMAT is a standardized test that helps business schools know if you are qualified and capable for their program.

The GMAT will increase your chances of being recruited into MBA business schools that match your interests and abilities. It measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills. It does not measure job skills, subjective qualities (such as motivation), or subject-specific knowledge. However, your future employer will definitely be interested in these qualities.

The GMAT is an essential step toward earning your MBA, a highly valued graduate degree for business and management. People who have an MBA have access to careers beyond middle-management and often move up the corporate ladder quickly. About 80 percent of senior management staff at financial and corporate companies holds MBA degrees.

The GMAT exam consists of three main parts: 1) the Analytical Writing Assessment, 2) the Quantitative section, and 3) the Verbal section. You will need to allow a total time of four hours to complete the exam.
